get fiction
  • python lib can, ours can not
  • solution: save cURLs from working python fiction, and not working node fiction
    • couldn’t get proxies to work, even though charles worked once for this -.-
    • wireshark does work, but can’t
  • install both libs in and editable way and
  • 🏗️ problem seems to be with extracting IDs.
    • saved source
    • at the same time the normal one stopped working
    • IDs are pushed into json.php
    • indeed, fiction results don’t have ids like nonfiction do
    • unfortunately, the python lib seems much nicer (it has book covers I think)

      • maybe a microservice that uses it? like a non-lambda function?
      • won’t that be annoying?
      • maybe it’s not significantly nicer after all? it also has no stars/community
      • definitely too big of a change to implement now
